For maximum performance and comfort, it is vital for the Handlebars to be no more than 15mm above or below your Set Saddle Height

We recommend not raising your cockpit with no more than 20mm of spacers under your stem. Slam that stem to the headset and get a good riser handlebar. Adding too many spacers under your stem will shorten your reach and make you ride too upright. It also makes the steering response numb and slow. Whip it good and don’t fall for the “bro stem” syndrome. – Mike V. 

The Peacemaker is designed to run 15-17% sag on the rear shock. Running any more sag then the recommended amount will compromise shock ramp-up and will throw off the geometry.  

We designed our optimized mixed wheel platform around 175mm cranks. We know the trend towards shorter cranks but what’s the point if you’re not worried about pedal strikes? Having extra leverage while climbing makes all the difference and probably a lot more than changing your crank length 5mm based on your femurs. If you’re an exceptionally small or tall person and have a prefered crank length for your proportions then run it but otherwise don’t sweat it. 

Always match your tire widths on our mixed wheel platform. Until MTB tires come in aspect ratios like cars and motos this is the best way to preserve the Mullet Cycles optimal angle of attack.
